Airlines that provide year-round non-stop service from North American cities to Tel Aviv, whether El Al or American carriers like Delta, will likely always have their acolytes, and for different and valid reasons. But if you're looking at your bottom line with any kind of scrutiny and don't mind a European layover, it may be time to rethink how you book your next trip to Israel.
