Will Smith gives Kylie Jenner a run for her money as he reveals Genie’s skincare routine

Kylie’s been busy extending her make-up empire and fans have seen her pushing her latest venture, Kylie Skin, across social media. We’ve had promo videos, fresh-faced selfies and that 10-second face wash tutorial that even Kim Kardashion poked fun of – but, anything Kylie can do, Will can do better. The Aladdin star took to Instagram with his own ‘beauty tips’ and ‘beauty secrets’, giving the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star a run for her money and we loved every second.aloe vera gel untuk jerawat

Will plays Genie in the live action re-make of the Disney movie and decided to film a little something to reveal the key to his ‘Genie magic’. Eyeliner – in case you were wondering. And a good face mask. Posting his spoof tutorial to Instagram, Will is sat in his dressing room and says: ‘The big part I hate about not being able to play Genie is eyeliner. I really like wearing eyeliner. ‘You see how pretty my eyes are?’ Next, he moves on to that Genie glow and applies a mask with a face exfoliator. We told you, he’s dedicated.

I don’t want Kylie Jenner stealing my stuff,’ he joked while layering on the ‘brown stuff’. If the Kylie dig wasn’t enough to have you in stitches, then Will’s demonstration will. ‘The brown stuff has nature in it,’ he says while going to town with the exfoliator. ‘It goes in a circular motion and you go in a circular motion and you’ve always got to keep the battery low, so it barely works.’ Totally deadpan, he then goes: ‘Oh, and you’ve got to be careful because it makes your skin black… and that’s why my skin looks so good.’

Him throwing shade at Kylie comes after he and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were on hand to support her former BFF Jordyn Woods when the whole Tristan Thompson scandal broke. Jordyn has been tight with Will and Jada ever since she was little and Jada gave her the platform to set the record straight on what really happened with Tristan on her talk show Red Table Talk.

Jordyn and Tristan were caught cheating at a house party in LA, but the model insisted they never slept together – Tristan had kissed her goodbye when she left the party. It was enough for Khloe Kardashian to dump her baby daddy Tristan, ending their three year relationship. Kylie has reportedly cut ties with Jordyn – washing her hands off their long-term friendship just like she did her face.

Millie Bobby Brown responds to fake skin-care routine accusations

Millie Bobby Brown has responded to accusations that she oddly "didn't apply anything” to her face in new video highlighting products from her clean beauty line, Florence by Mills.

In recent days, the "Stranger Things" star shared her "nighttime skin routine” with the cosmetics on social media, but many viewers agreed that it didn’t look like she was doing anything to her face at all.Tutorial makeup

In the nearly two-minute clip, which has since been deleted from Instagram but remains on YouTube, Brown demonstrates a face mist, a scrub, a facewash, a moisturizer, and lip oil, claiming to have washed off her face between at least two of the steps. But, as some pointed out, the 15-year-old actress appears to retain her eye makeup throughout, leading some to believe she was just pretending to use the products and rubbing her dry hands all over her face.

"The mist is the only thing she actually used!” on YouTube commenter complained. "This girl basically just spent two minutes rubbing her face with her bare hands.”

"Wow, a magic invisible product that we couldn't even see being applied,” another smirked. "Millie is such a great actress.”I am so confused… if she was actually applying something then all her makeup would be smudging and coming off,” one added.

On Sept. 12, Brown took the makeup matter into her own hands and responded to the accusations on Instagram with a new post."I'm still learning the best way to share my routines as I get to know this space better – I'm not an expert,” the "Godzilla” star admitted. "I thought doing a quick video replicating my personal process that night was okay, but that's not what was conveyed. I appreciate all of your feedback on this journey, please keep sharing your thoughts and I will too!”

Millie Bobby Brown Reacts to Criticism After Skincare Tutorial Goes Viral

The Stranger Things star took to Instagram on Thursday to address the criticism she received over a nighttime skincare routine tutorial.

"I'm still learning the best way to share my routines as I get to know this space better—I'm not an expert," she wrote in a note posted to the social network. "I thought doing a quick video replicating my personal process for that night was okay, but that's not what was conveyed. I understand, I appreciate all of your feedback on this journey, please keep sharing your thoughts and I will too. Ily guys x #LovedAndLight."Storie

The 15-year-old actress posted the tutorial on YouTube last weekend. In the one-minute and 50-second clip, the celebrity talked about the products from her Florence by Mills line and walked viewers through a routine, which included using a face mist, a scrub, a face wash, a moisturizer and a lip oil. However, viewers had some serious questions about the video—mainly over if she actually used the products. For instance, some wondered why her hair was still dry and why her makeup was still intact after allegedly washing her face.

"You know how when you actually wash your face with water your hair gets a little bit wet or damp around the face? She kept saying she was washing the soap off, but her hair was perfectly dry at all times," one YouTube commenter wrote. "I would have expected to see a little remnant of the rinsing process at least since she rinsed at least twice over. And the [mist] kinda didn't get on her face. This was weird. The eye makeup was still on."
Others questioned the sporadic cuts throughout the video, which usually took place right after she said she was going to "wash off." Some even accused the celebrity of using empty bottles.

How to Choose an Online Casino

The quality of your online casino experience will depend on the site you choose. You should always do your homework before you put your money on the line. Start by compiling a list of casinos that are available in your jurisdiction, then try to assess them based on the criteria listed below.gambling affiliate program

When you visit an online casino, your first step should be to check for a license issued by an internationally recognized regulatory body. Legitimate casinos don’t hide licensing information from their customers—in most cases, you should be able to find it at the bottom of the casino website’s main page.

The industry is highly competitive, so international casinos tend to be based in jurisdictions with low gambling taxes, such as Curacao, Malta, Gibraltar, the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, and Costa Rica. If the local regulations prohibit you from joining casinos with a global reach, stick to platforms that operate under a license issued by your local gambling authorities.

Once you’ve made sure that the paperwork checks out, you should also verify the casino’s reputation. We recommend following a simple rule of thumb to avoid getting bogged down in conflicting customer reviews—if the casino hasn’t been involved in any scandal around withdrawal requests or the terms and conditions of promotions, you should be good to go.Every online casino offers its own lineup of slots, table games, and specialty games, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a title that’s exclusive to any particular site. This is because casino operators generally don’t design their games in-house. Instead, they rely on games from dedicated software development companies such as Playtech, Microgaming, NetEnt, Konami, or BetSoft.

If game variety is an important consideration for you, you should focus on casinos that are partnered with a diverse selection of software providers. On the other hand, if you’re more of a profit-seeking player, you’ll want to prioritize casinos that offer games with the most advantageous characteristics. For example, if you’re hoping to turn a profit while playing slots, you should be looking for high-volatility games with a low house edge.

Missouri Casinos and Gambling

When most people consider Missouri, they probably think of Branson, a tourist mecca filled with arts, crafts, and a variety of musical acts. While the area nestled in the Ozark Mountains certainly does its part to draw in out-of-state revenue, the casinos scattered about Missouri are just as proficient at generating cash for the government’s coffers.

Missouri is more liberal on gambling than they are in most other areas, and were one of the first states in the country to authorize commercial casinos. These casinos came in the form of riverboats, which basically just means that they were built on barges, which technically puts them in the water; the ‘boats’ don’t go anywhere.affiliate program

Other forms of gambling in the state include charitable gaming, which also allows for certain games of skill. The organizations conducting the gambling pay license fees while the taxes are assessed on the sale of the gambling products, in other words, the suppliers of the products pay the taxes.

Horse racing is legal within the state, as is pari-mutuel wagering; however, the state currently has no horse racing tracks and there are not any simulcast wagering sections at the casinos. We can expect that to change if Missouri ever passes a sports betting bill, which they have still failed to do (as of the time of this writing). The Kansas City Star is not particularly pleased.
That’s absolutely right! The writer also (simultaneously) makes an excellent case for legalizing and regulating online casinos, as well. The state should also legalize and regulate video lottery parlors in the manner of states such as Illinois, West Virginia and Montana. When will this happen? According to the Star, Kansas Rep. John Barker had this to say:

Having lived in the state, I can say that there are only two speeds at which anything happens in the State of Missouri: Extremely slow and stop. "Giving it some priority,” will, at best, move sports betting into the extremely slow category. I don’t know why the state doesn’t feel like it couldn’t get its hands on those sweet, sweet tax revenues soon enough, but apparently, it’s not a huge concern for them. In the meantime, as mentioned by the Star, residents will just make the bets elsewhere.

That’s great news because, if Missouri (as a state) were to ever enter a race, the result would be DNF. (Did not finish) If the people of Missouri were anything like the politicians, no housefire would ever be escaped because they’d be too busy diddling around. Granted, Barker is a representative from the state of Kansas, but you’d have to live on the western side of Missouri or eastern side of Kansas to even know where one stops and the other starts, and even then, you often end up in the opposite state without even knowing it.

We doubt if online gambling is going to be on the table anytime soon, especially given the state’s preference for doing things approximately 457 years after all of the other states do. Surprisingly, Missouri was one of the first states to authorize and regulate daily fantasy sports (DFS) because they considered it a game of skill.

We guess they’re just liberal when it comes to the casino gambling and pretty conservative when it comes to everything else. In addition to the offshore online sports betting, some of the states bordering Missouri were extremely quick to license and regulate sports betting, perhaps most notably Illinois, bordering the eastern side of the state.

Danville officials pick site for potential casino; request for proposals sent today

Solicitations for proposals for a casino project in Danville’s Southgate Industrial Park area were scheduled to go out this morning to prospective operators throughout the country.

Developer Dave Cocagne said casino developers will be asked for information regarding 17 different criteria, including their experience, annual revenues, numbers of jobs their project would create and other amenities it would include — data needed to help a local steering committee decide with whom the city should partner.most popular casinos

While Danville will be competing with existing and new casinos — possibly one an hour away in Terre Haute, Ind. — Cocagne said Danville can capitalize on its rich history and unique assets by incorporating them into the project’s design, branding and marketing, and other attractions.

"We don’t want this to be an island,” Cocagne said, meaning it shouldn’t be just a casino."We want this to be an asset to the community,” said Cocagne, who envisions a project with restaurants, retail and other entertainment and attractions.

The city and Vermilion Advantage have partnered with Cocagne — president and CEO of Vermilion Development, which got its start in Danville in 1992 — who will help guide the city through the process of finding the right casino developer and submitting a license application to the Illinois Gaming Board by the deadline at October’s end.

At Tuesday’s city council meeting, he outlined the application process, the hefty financial investment the developer needs to make, the type of site they’re looking for and the "enormous” role the city plays, including signing off on a site and developer and passing a resolution or ordinance in support of a casino in the community."All of this has to be done before the application is submitted,” Cocagne said, adding that any project needs the city’s buy-in.

He commended Mayor Rickey Williams Jr. for acting quickly to put together a steering committee, which will use an evaluation matrix to review proposals, make a short list of and interview finalists and ultimately recommend a casino developer to the council for approval.

Besides Williams, the panel includes Vicki Haugen and Tinisha Shade-Spain of Vermilion Advantage; interim Police Chief Chris Yates; attorney and former Corporation Counsel Dave Wesner; Gardner Peck of Danville Metal Stamping; Jerry Connolly of Venture Mechanical; and Alderman Mike Puhr.Williams and Haugen, president and CEO of Vermilion Advantage, recommend two adjoining parcels — one 40 acres, the other 32 — in Southgate as the potential site, and the steering committee endorsed the idea.

Haugen said she researched sites with at least 20 to 25 acres along Interstate 74 — a location seen as vital for visibility and accessibility — and based on other site requirements. While she looked at a number of options near all of the Danville interstate exits, she ruled most of them out because they were outside of the city or didn’t have the required acreage, room to expand, infrastructure or landowners willing to sell.

Calls for Crown casino inquiry after leaked video of bricks of cash in junket room

Video footage showing dozens of "bricks” of $50 and $100 notes – hundreds of thousands of dollars worth – being casually handed over from a shopping bag in a high-rollers’ room at Melbourne’s Crown Casino have sparked renewed calls for a royal commission into alleged criminality at the casino.popular casinos

The footage, shot on Crown’s own security cameras, shows an unknown man handing over hundreds of thousands of dollars in Australian currency inside the Suncity junket room at Crown. He pulls the money, wrapped in elastic bands, from a freezer shopping bag, and waits, and appears to speak with friends and casino staff while it is exchanged for high-value casino chips.

Suncity is a Macau-based gambling tour operator that flies in wealthy Chinese gamblers to Australian casinos. It has a dedicated gaming room at Crown. The footage was leaked by three Victorian state gambling inspectors turned whistleblowers and released publicly by the independent member for Clark, Andrew Wilkie, who has repeatedly called for a royal commission into the casino.

"People probably think that everything that goes on is squeaky clean ... ,” one of the whistleblowers says on the footage, his voice obscured. "But in fact it’s fucked."You see people coming in with bags of money, cash, it’s a junkets room, it’s specially designed for people that come in from overseas, the Suncity room at Crown.”

The Suncity room faced closure by the Victorian Commission for Gaming and Liquor Regulation in 2017 over alleged ties to organised crime, but remains open. The whistleblower said high-rollers in the casino were never challenged by casino staff.Anybody can walk in with any amount of money and launder it … Nobody really cares.

"They get to do what they want. They can bring anybody into the casino, they can bring in as much money as they like, nothing is ever said.”The whistleblower said a reduced presence of Victoria police inside the casino meant suspected criminals were able to allegedly launder money with impunity.

Wilkie has called for a royal commission into Crown, arguing the footage follows earlier allegations of money laundering, machine tampering, drug running and domestic violence at the casino. Crown has also been accused of breaking immigration laws to illegally bring people into Australia to gamble.

"For many years we’ve been told of shocking crimes occurring at Crown and now we have new footage that supports these claims,” Wilkie said."The inspectors who have provided these videos say countless millions of dollars are regularly laundered inside Crown. Crown can no longer claim this isn’t happening. This leaked version was filmed using Crown’s own security cameras.”Wilkie said Crown’s alleged misconduct could only occur, and continue to occur, if the casino was confident it had political cover and if numerous agencies fail to do their jobs.

"This crisis at Crown is multinational, multi-jurisdictional and multi-agency. This is a demonstration of catastrophic failure on the part of the major parties, the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation, Victoria police, the Australian federal police, Border Force and the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (Austrac).”

Hard Rock Casino is Rockford mayor’s choice

Mayor Tom McNamara’s administration recommended to City Council Monday that it back Hard Rock International to receive the city’s sole casino license.

McNamara said Forest City Casino’s application for a far east side casino has uncertainties. And although Gorman & Co. officials say they identified a casino operator late last week, consultants for the city said the operator has not formally committed to the project.recommend casino

Hard Rock Casino Rockford would be located at the former Clock Tower Resort property on 25 acres at 7801 E. State St. Giovanni’s Restaurant & Convention Center, 610 N. Bell School Road, would house a temporary casino until the Hard Rock Casino is built.

McNamara said the city should send a single casino to the Illinois Gaming Board, and make the decision on which casino proposal is best for the city. He said Hard Rock’s "financing structure is credible” and includes "realistic and sustainable minimum gambling tax guarantees, along with additional revenue sharing payments to offset impacts to the city.”We believe Hard Rock has by far the most thorough and complete proposal delivered to the city,” McNamara said. "We believe the other proposals have some fairly glaring weaknesses, and we believe the greatest likelihood for the city to get a casino is with Hard Rock.”

Hard Rock International is proposing a casino with 1,500 slot machines and 55 table games, a Hard Rock Café and 1,600-seat Hard Rock Live entertainment venue at the I-90 exit.

The casino recommendation is now in the hands of the 14-member City Council, which must vote by Oct. 26 to certify one or more of the applicants to the Illinois Gaming Board, which ultimately decides who gets a casino license. McNamara said he recommends that aldermen find consensus among themselves and cast a final vote on Oct. 7.

Thrifty bride keeps wearing $365 wedding dress to get her 'money's worth'

One thrifty newlywed in the U.K. keeps reliving the magic of her big day by wearing her bridal gown time and time again — to the grocery store, on a paddleboarding trip, and even while doing chores around the house.www.eisenge.com

Though Dawn Winfield-Hunt tied the knot with husband Steve earlier in August, she hasn’t quite been ready to put the special dress behind her.

"Usually you only get to wear your dress once and then you put it in a box and forget about it,” the 57-year-old woman said of the gown, according to The Sun. "But I liked mine and decided to wear it the following day for a BBQ with friends and everyone loved it.”I plan on wearing it every now and then until my first anniversary next year,” she continued. "It will be covered in seaweed, wine stains and probably won’t even be white anymore but I don’t care.”

Winfield-Hunt, who lives on the Isle of Wight off the south coast of England, admitted that while her pals think the fashion statement is hilarious, the post-nuptials look is often confusing for strangers.

"The dress puts a smile on people's faces, many of which think it is my wedding day and congratulate me as they are passing by in the street,” the bride said."When I arrived at the checkout in the supermarket, the lady said she had received a message through her earpiece saying ‘bride in aisle 12’ which is pretty funny,” she said.

Winfield-Hunt scooped up the dress for $365 at a thrift shop, and feels that the gown--which still had the $2,186 price tag on it, and appeared never to have been worn -- was a bargain. She then completed the alterations on the dress herself, and she's been sporting it around ever since

"I have definitely got my money’s worth by wearing it on the weekends," she said. But with a "bucket list of adventures”--including a kayaking trip -- to complete in her wedding dress, Winfield-Hunt’s new hubby thinks it’s a riot.

Chinese People Don’t Care About Privacy Online

It seems that people in China are more open to privacy issues. In most cases, they are ready to enjoy convenience and efficiency on the Internet at the price of privacy. They usually provide their personal data to various service providers.

Is it true?

They have no choice but to compromise

At the age of information, numerous services are available on the Internet. These services bring convenience to them as well as risks. Most websites and apps have privacy policies. If netizens don’t agree with these privacy policies, they are not able to use these apps. Agreeing to the privacy policy means that they need to provide some personal information. For example, if they want to order takeout or a taxi, they will need to provide location information to service providers. To get more accurate news feeds, they should allow others to follow their reading history. What’s worse, their shopping experiences are also revealed so that they can receive individual product recommendations.

location sharing
Can Chinese people say no?

No, they can not. Whether they like it or not, they can only use privacy to gain convenience.

Most websites and apps, however, are unable to provide better service even with the users’ private information and do not provide protection for the user data they collect. According to some investigations, more than half of these service providers offer an unreasonable privacy policy. The so-called customized recommendations greatly bother Chinese users. Not to mention privacy violations. Websites and apps generally do not take measures to protect user data from data breaches. Once users enter their private information to get better service, they have no idea who will get their information. Therefore, there is no need for users to sacrifice their privacy for convenience and efficiency. They should not trust websites and apps to protect the information they entered.

Many Chinese are not sensitive enough to private information gathered by websites and apps

First, Chinese users often ignore the service of terms and privacy policies that appear during the installation of an app. Generally, the first time an app is opened, users are prompted to agree to the user agreements. The app may also request permission to access the user’s location, camera, etc. At the same time, the user is informed that the collected user data is only used to improve the service. It is true that most Chinese users confirm these conditions without reading them. They are just open the app and enjoy the service as soon as possible.

Second, Chinese users have no choice but to accept these terms in order to use the service. While they enjoy these services, their information is also stored, analyzed and shared with these service companies. Therefore, they are also reluctant to give up using these services or to sacrifice some private data for convenience and efficiency. Most of them choose the latter. Personal information includes basic personal information, shopping habits, bank details, driving records, etc. On the basis of the above data, even more information such as personal income, family members and personality can be analyzed. They are almost naked on the internet.

Over time, they get used to agreeing to these terms. They even enter their sensitive information to get services without hesitation. So they are no longer sensitive to this way of information gathering.

Google allows users to customize the privacy settings for their accounts

Google privacy settings
Compared to websites and apps in China, Google at least allows users to customize their privacy settings. Google has a Privacy Policy that explains how your personal information is used. If you want to know more, you can read more details in the privacy policy. For example, what information is collected, what technology is used, and so on. It also tells you whether your private information is being shared with other companies and organizations or not, in what ways and for what purposes. You will be asked for permission to share your confidential information. Qwer432

If you do not like the way your private information is collected, you can enable or disable it in privacy settings. Although you disable some of the features, you can still use various Google services. You can also delete information that should not be recorded. Although Google may want to show you ads, you can choose the ads you want to see and avoid those you do not want to see. There are many other settings that you can customize to your needs. Isn’t that convenient and useful?

In addition,VPN
(virtual private network) that is widely used to protect personal privacy and security online is banned in China.

Conclusion

Chinese users don’t care about their privacy? Of course not. They are only forced to accept information collection while using apps. If there is a choice, they also want to keep their privacy to themselves and enjoy better services on the Internet.

How Do I Block Spam Calls and Texts on iPhone?

Are you annoyed about spam calls and texts? We believe that most iPhone users receive a few spam calls or text messages every day. Today we will show you some methods to solve this problem.

How do I block spam calls?Qwer432

Silence Unknown Callers
When you enable Silence Unknown Caller, all incoming calls that are not stored in your contacts are automatically hung up. It will automatically be sent to your voicemail if you enable voicemail.

In addition to your contacts, the phone number you recently contacted or suggested by Siri (for example, the phone number you received from someone via e-mail or text message) will not be silenced.

silence unknown callers
Make sure that you have saved all important contacts on your iPhone before you activate "Silence Unknown Callers”. Otherwise, you may miss important calls.

To turn Silence Unknown Callers on, you should do the following steps:

Open "Settings” on your iPhone

Click on "Phone”.

Click on "Silence Unknown Callers”.

Note: If you have made an emergency call, Silence Unknown Callers will be disabled for the next 24 hours for your iPhone to be available.

Do Not Disturb
But Do Not Disturb is not a perfect solution for spam calls, as you may miss important calls. Especially if you frequently receive customer calls from different numbers or have to answer calls from the deliverer. Sometimes, Silence Unknown Callers makes your daily life inconvenient. Therefore, "Repeated Calls” on your iPhone is a good choice to avoid missed calls that you do not want to miss. You should go to "Settings” first and then activate "Do Not Disturb”. Under "Do Not Disturb”, you will find "Repeated Calls”. Once you activate it, a second call from the same number will no longer be silenced within three minutes. However, Do Not Disturb silences calls and notifications. We recommend that you use it temporarily.

Third-party Call Blocker apps
If this built-in feature is not enough to prevent spam calls, you can also download an app to detect and block unwanted calls.

If you have a third-party call blocking app on your iPhone, you will need to adjust the settings so that this app can block spam calls or text messages for you.

Open "Settings” on your iPhone.

Click on "Phone”.

Choose "Call Blocking & Identification”.

In this section, click on "Allow These Apps To Block Calls And Provide Caller ID”.

Then, you can turn an app on to block spam calls.

How do I block spam texts?

You may receive spam messages from e-mail addresses instead of phone numbers because they are iMessages. Thus, you can take action to remove spam texts from iMessage.

Filter Unknown Senders
If you enable "Filter unknown senders”, no notifications for iMessages from a stranger will be displayed. When you receive an iMessage from an unknown person, iOS automatically adds it to the appropriate group without notifying you.

filter unknown senders
To enable Filter Unknown Senders, you should do the following steps:

Open "Settings” on your iPhone.

Scroll down to "Messages”.

Under "Messages”, tap "Filter Unknown Sender”.

Remove your e-mail address from iMessage
Since many spam messages are sent by email, you can remove your email address from the iMessage list.

Open "Settings” on your iPhone.

Scroll down to "Messages”.

Under "Messages”, tap Send & Receive”.

Tap the information icon next to your e-mail address.

Tap "Remove This Email.”

Disable iMessage
Open "Settings” on your iPhone.

Click on "Messages”.

Tap "iMessage” to turn it off.

Although you can use iMessage to send text over Wi-Fi and encrypt your text, you can enjoy the same feature with other messaging apps.

How do I delete spam texts?

If you have received a lot of unwanted messages and you want to make room for photos, videos or other messages, you should learn how to delete them. You can tap and hold the message to tap "More” when it appears. Select the message you want to delete and click the Trash. You can also delete one or more conversations on your iPhone.

It is not an easy task to delete so many messages one after the other. You can also set your iPhone to automatically delete old messages. By default, iPhone stores all your messages forever.

8 Ways to Keep Your Data Private Online

As the Internet makes the world smaller, it knows too much about every internet user. Every time you browse a website, do a search through a search engine, post on Facebook, or download an app, your personal information can be easily accessed by others. It has become increasingly difficult for us to keep our data private.

This article explains how to avoid data breaches.

Password Manager

When it comes to data breaches, we usually worry about password theft. You may have learned how to create a strong password from the Internet. And there are so many rules. For example:

Try to create longer passwords.
Please do not use the same password for multiple accounts.
Passwords should not contain any basic personal information that others can easily access.
Passwords should contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.
Don’t use words from the dictionary.
If you create a hard-to-crack password by following all the instructions, this password is also difficult to remember. Because of this, many people use password managers to store and manage passwords.

password managers
Generally, a password manager has the following features:

Create hard-to-crack passwords.
Save your password for each account.
Offer a browser plug-in, a mobile client, and a desktop client.
Some of them can also:

Check if the site you are visiting is safe or not.
Check if the password has been cracked.
Support for two-factor authentication.
Two-factor authentication

If a website or program wants to verify your identity, you will normally need to enter a username and password. However, it does not seem to be enough to verify the identity of a user in recent years. This still makes it easy to steal your information.

As a result, more and more websites and apps are using two-factor authentication to protect user data from identity and data theft. It adds an extra layer of security to your authentication process.

The two-factor authentication is usually divided into the following categories:

Inherence factor: facial recognition, voice recognition, fingerprint;
Knowledge factor: extra personal identification number (PIN), security questions;
Possession factor: security token, mobile phone number (message), credit card (shopping).
two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication means that two authentication factors are required to gain access to a website or service.

The most common method is to use a two-factor authentication app. A possession factor is used as the second factor to secure your authentication process.

Some password managers now offer both password management and two-factor authentication. 1 Password is a good example. There are also a number of independent two-factor authentication applications such as Authy, Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator.

Protect your SIM card with a PIN

You can set a PIN code for your SIM card. The PIN code usually consists of 4 digits. After setting up, you will need to enter the PIN code every time you re-register the SIM card on the network (start/restart your mobile phone or insert the SIM card into another phone). If the PIN code you entered is incorrect, you will not be able to use this phone number.

SIM locked
You can only try the PIN code a few times. Otherwise, you must unlock your SIM card with the PUK code. If the PUK code is also entered incorrectly, you must contact the operator to change a SIM card.

Do not use numeric passwords Qwer432

Both iPhone and Android allow you to use a complex password (a combination of letters, numbers and symbols) or a numeric password (usually 4 to 6 digits) when logging in. What you need to remember is that digital passwords are not secure because they are easy to crack. So, you should always avoid numeric passwords.

avoid numeric passcodes
Encrypt data on your devices

Now you have created a strong password for your computer or other devices. Can this prevent others from stealing your data on your phone or computer?

Of course not. In most cases, when the attacker accesses your computer, they can plug in a prepared USB drive to restart your computer. The USB drive often includes an operating system that allows it to read and copy your files.
Fortunately, Windows 10, macOS, iOS, and Android come with hard drive encryption, which ensures that you can access hard drive data only if you are logged in to your account as normal.

Remove Exif information from photos

It is noteworthy that sending a photo to a friend can reveal your detailed location information because it is included in the Exif information. Besides, it also contains your phone model, shooting time, exposure parameters.

If you don’t think you need it, you can also turn location sharing off.

Check the application permissions regularly

app permissions
Be careful when your apps request permissions. You should also periodically check the following permissions for each app:

Camera
Location
Microphone
Contacts
In addition to the vulnerability in disclosing location information, you should also protect your contacts, which not only exposes your own information but also the relationship between your contacts. It is not necessary to allow apps to access your contacts if you are only charging your phone. It’s also easy to check app permissions on iPhone, Android, macOS and Windows.

Use a VPN

When you are surfing the Internet, your traffic can be intercepted by others for malicious purposes. To keep your data private and secure online, you can download RitaVPN to encrypt your Internet traffic.

A Guide to DDoS Protection

Theonline gaming industry is oftentargeted bymany complex and changeablehigh-traffic attacks, such as DDoS attacks. With so many types of DDoS attacks andincreasingly new methodsof performinga DDoS attack, the gaming experience has been greatly affected. Qwer432
Whatis a DDoS attack?
DDoS attack is the abbreviationforDistributed Denial of Service attack. What is a denial of service attack? All attacks thatdeny authorized users’access tonetwork services are DoS attacks. In other words,a DoS attackis designedto prevent authorizedusers from accessing normal network resources.
Toput it simply, many people pretend to benormal customers to visita store while real buyers can not get in there. They use variousmethods to prevent the shop from serving real customers. Then, the store will suffer great losses. In addition, manypeople are needed to achieve this goal.
The difference betweenDDoSand DoS
AlthoughDDoS attacks and DoS attacks are similar, they differ considerablyin some aspects.DDoS attacks usethe botnet to send packets thatappearlegitimate to thedestination. This leads to an overload of the network andexhaustionof server resources. In consequence, the target is overwhelmed with numerousfake packets.Once a DDoS attackhas beenperformed, legitimate users willlose access to the server.
Therefore, a distributed denial-of-serviceattack is alsocalled a "flood attack”.Common types of DDoS attacks include SYN Flood, UDP Flood, ICMP Flood, HTTP Flood, etc. On the other hand,DoS attacks keepthe site from running normally, crash thesystem and host, causing the host to stop servingusers. It exploits certainvulnerabilities on the host.Teardrop Attack, Shrew Attack, Slow Read Attack, Nuke, Banana Attack, and Peer-to-Peer Attack are common types of DoSattacks.
Comparedto a DoS attack,a DDoS attackis more difficult to avoid.DDoS attacks are distributed so that you canbarelyprevent them completely.
How do Iperform a DDoS attack?
DDoS attacks usea large number offake requests to exhaustnetwork resources andcause network paralysis.
1.Overload the network to interfere with or interrupt network communication.
2.Overloadthe server bysendinga large number offakedrequests.
3.Block a user’s access to theserver.
4.Preventa particular system or person from communicating with a service provider.
Manytechniques can be exploited to perform a DDoS attack.
Application
Unlike otherattacks,application-level floods focus on the application layer, which is higher than OSI.
Itis also designed to occupya largenumberof system resources by sending unlimited resource requests to Internet services, such as IIS, to affect normal network services.
IP spoofing
In IP spoofing, the hacker sends aspoofedpacket to the server. That is to say,the source IP address included in thepacketis changed toan invalid or non-existent address. Therefore, when the server responds to this request packet, the source IPnever receivesthe packet returned by the server. This may waste resources from the server.
ICMP Flood
ICMP Flood is supposedto occupy the system resources by sending broadcast information to thebadly set router.
How do I prevent DDoS attacks whilegaming?
It is increasingly difficult to prevent DDoS attacks becausethey are distributed denialofservice attacks.A DDoS attack can target multiple system resources in multiple locations, completely overloadingthe target system.
Itis impossible torely on just onesystem or product to prevent DDoS attacks.Since both DDoSattacks and defensescost money, if you takeaction to preventDDoS attacks, the attackermustspend more onDDoS attacks. Thus, youcan reduce DDoS attacks from the Internet.
VPNsnot only allow you to play games that are not available in your home country but also protect you from DDoS attacks. An attack usually exploits your IP address to perform a DDoS attack while you are playing games. If you use a VPN,they can only seethe IP address of the VPN serveris displayed, but not your IP address.
In addition,a VPN is more useful than you expected. You canunblock websites
andsurf the internet anonymouslywith a VPN service. We recommend that youdownloadRitaVPN, which is really easy to use.You do not need any additional techniques.

Apple’s Privacy Controversy: Sending User Browsing Data to Tencent in China

A report from Bloomberg raised concerns about Apple sending user browsing data to Tencent, a Chinese company. Users began to doubt whether Apple is still trustworthy.

What happened?

It was said that your browsing data may be transmitted to Tencent if you enable "Fraudulent Website Warning” on iOS. The big brother might be watching you.

The transmitted data contains users’ browsing history and even sensitive information such as IP addresses and physical locations. It is collected via Safari on your iOS devices. Here is how Apple describes "Fraudulent Website Warning” in "Safari & Privacy”:

Before visiting a website, Safari may send information calculated from the website address to Google Safe Browsing and Tencent Safe Browsing to check if the website is fraudulent. These safe browsing providers may also log your IP address.

It seems that users have a lot of factors to consider when it comes to this issue. In fact, we can find relevant descriptions of "Fraudulent Website Warning” in iOS 11, iOS 12 and 13. Given that Google services are blocked in mainland China, Chinese users are not able to use fraudulent website warning supported by Google Safe Browsing. Therefore, Apple may work with Tencent Safe Browsing to warn users from mainland China when they are trying to visit websites that are known to be malicious from Tencent. On iOS 12, only the simplified Chinese version mentioned Tencent Safe Browsing in the privacy policy. While versions of other languages only mentioned Google Safe Browsing. However, both Google Safe Browsing and Tencent Safe Browsing are included in the description since iOS 12. iOS users from outside mainland China wonder whether their browsing data will be shared with Tencent.

If Tencent can get access to user browsing data, so does Google. Google is also tracking users and knows what they do online. Do users care about privacy or just don’t trust this Chinese company?

Obviously, they don’t trust Tencent because it keeps a close relationship with the Chinese government. But don’t forget that Google, Facebook and other big companies also got into privacy issues again and again.

Besides, you may don’t notice that Tencent has already an important partner of Apple in data security not only in China but also in other countries.

Of course, all of this doesn’t mean that apple shared sensitive user data with Tencent and Google. And we don’t know whether user data is used by Tencent and Google for their own purposes. Let’s see how Apple responds.

How did Apple respond?

Apple officials said the "Fraudulent Website Warning” means to warn users of malicious websites that are known to Tencent and Google. Apple aims to protect its users’ privacy and data. Above all, Apple guarantees that it will never share the URLs of the websites you visit with Tencent or Google.

This function is designed to protect users from malicious websites. When you turn it on, Safari will check the URL of the website you are going to visit according to a list of malicious websites provided by Google or Tencent. A warning appears when this website is suspicious. To be specific, Google and Tencent first transfer the URLs of malicious websites into truncated hashes and then send them to Safari. Next, Safari hashes the URL of the website you visit and see if it matches with any of the received hashes. If that’s the case, Safari will ask Google or Tencent for the URLs that contain the matched hashes. Safari tags the page as malicious if it finds it.

So we can see that Google and Tencent are only responsible for providing lists of malicious websites. Since Chinese users cannot use Google services, Tencent will offer safe browsing services to them. While Google provides services for other countries and regions.

Conclusion

In conclusion, iOS users don’t need to have too many concerns about this feature. If you still worry about data leakage, you can turn it off by following our instructions below (by default, this feature is turned on):

Open "Settings”.
Scroll down to "Safari” and click on it.
Find "Fraudulent Website Warning” and disable it.
If you are a Mac user:

Open Safari.
Tap "Preference”.
Tap "Security”.
Turn off "Warn when visiting a fraudulent website”.
fraudulent website warning
But you should also bear in mind that you will lose the high-risk site filtering. And it will increase the risk of visiting fraudulent sites.

Use a VPN to protect your data security now!!

International Partnership with Hangzhou ?

After a week of site visits, educational exchange and joint discussions, both sides are pleased to announce the establishment of an Overseas Study Centre at Adelaide International School’s Rundle Mall campus.Hangzhou School

Established in 2017, HYFLS is a new primary and junior middle school that fits within the respected Zhejiang Yuying Education Group and has 36 classes sharing a 3.8-hectare campus in the picturesque Donghai-Xianhu town, Hangzhou. The dual language school (Chinese & English) promotes a mixed educational approach rooted both in the Chinese traditional culture and the essence of western civilization.

By adding to its educational partnerships with other prominent schools throughout Asia, Adelaide International School is helping lead the way in trans-national cooperation between students, teachers and administrators; which in-turn adds to the unique international culture at Adelaide International School.

This agreement will allow students from both schools the opportunity to become exposed internationalism and set them on their pathway to global citizenship.

The design of the new Tianjin Teda School

In an international competition for the ‘Teda High School in Tianjin, China’, organised by the city of Tianjin, schneider+schumacher have been awarded first prize. Their winning scheme proposes a complete – rather than partial – reconstruction of the school, originally built in the early 1980s.international school in Tianjin

This is the second success in China for schneider+schumacher, who run a main office in Frankfurt as well as offices in Tianjin, China and Vienna, Austria. Their other competition-winning proposal for the Civic Center in Hangzhou is about to start on site.

The site is centrally located in the city, in Tianjin’s ‘Teda Economic Development Zone’ located in the Binhai District. The current school has already established an excellent reputation and tellingly bears the name ‘Teda No. 1 School’.

The brief called for two different approaches. The core concept was to replace just some of the existing buildings with new structures, and to revitalise the remaining buildings. In the other concept, the architects were asked to ignore the existing constraints and consider the consequences of a erecting a totally new building.

schneider+schumacher’s design concept unites both these approaches by creating a coherent programme for phasing the construction work. The idea won unanimous approval from both the jury and the local politicians and convinced them to rebuild not just a few of the buildings, but the entire school.

The design comprises a single five-storey building of about 63,000 square metres, with a 180-metre long hallway – the school’s ‘backbone’ – acting as a central element linking all the other key areas. This backbone, aside from its role as circulation space, offers a pleasant, informal area where students will be able to meet and talk – a feature that traditional Chinese schools lack. On upper levels, connecting bridges meander through the red walls of the staircase, alluding to ‘Liu Shang Qu Shui‘, a traditional Chinese story about the collective creation, exchange, and transmission of knowledge.

The long hallway links together classrooms for a total of 2,700 students, the school cafeteria, the library, an auditorium for 600 people, and the sports hall. In keeping with the surrounding urban texture, these elements are clearly expressed as individual volumes. The elevation’s strict vertical and horizontal glass elements and stone-cladding sets the school visually apart from more typical Chinese school buildings, and the design aims to safeguard the school’s excellent reputation as well as provide a stimulating learning environment for students and teachers.

Asia drives demand for international schools

But when Wycombe Abbey, a girls' boarding school in Buckinghamshire, opens its doors in China in September, it will be not be launching a replica.
Wycombe Abbey International in Changzhou near Shanghai will be co-educational, and will teach a hybrid of the Chinese and English curriculums within an English-style boarding school environment.Tianjin international school
Alongside international GCSEs and A-levels, pupils will follow a Chinese curriculum in mathematics. And it won't be serving international students or UK families in China. Around 90% of the students will be local Chinese. We're catering to the insatiable demand in China for an English-medium education," said Wycombe Abbey's headmistress Rhiannon Wilkinson, who has also taught in Hong Kong and Brunei.
"But we are also responding to a need for an English-style education system and Chinese methods," she said.
"They don't want to be westernised but they want to apply to western universities."International schools were once a virtual foreign enclave within the host country, a preserve of internationally-mobile expatriate families working for multinational companies.
Now more local families are using international schools, where they study A-levels and International Baccalaureates from the UK and Advanced Placement programmes from the US, as a springboard to getting places in UK and US universities.
Some parents also want their children to rub shoulders with an international elite and build contacts for a future career.
More stories from the BBC's Knowledge economy series looking at education from a global perspective and how to get in touch
Another motivation is to escape the relentless drudgery and ferocious competition of a local school system based on rote learning and geared only towards exams.
"Families are worried about the pressure of the system on their children," said Ms Wilkinson.
There are now about 8,000 international schools around the world, teaching 4.26 million students, according to research by the International School Consultancy. From less than a dozen such schools in each country a decade or so ago, Thailand now has over 172 international curriculum schools, half of them following England's national curriculum.
Malaysia has 142, Japan 233, and Singapore - which makes it difficult for foreigners to enrol in local schools - around 63. Myanmar could also become a hotspot - Dulwich College will open there next year.
Hong Kong which had 92 such schools in 2000 now has 171.
Demand, particularly from local wealthy families is such that virtually all the leading international schools in Hong Kong have waiting lists, says ISC director Richard Gaskell, who is based in Bangkok.
Only South Korea has seen a retraction, with some international schools struggling to fill places.
But the big story is China. From a dozen schools 15 years ago, China has some 530 English-medium international schools, catering for 326,000 students.

Moved to Shanghai to Work for Disney

I moved abroad to Shanghai, China at the end of August 2018. The decision to work and live abroad in Shanghai was motivated by a job opportunity with The Walt Disney Company. I started working for the company in May 2014 as a performer through the college program at Walt Disney World in Orlando. I was intrigued to see how a company as big as Disney functioned in China compared to in the United States. Moving to Shanghai
I work as an English teacher for young children through Disney’s extracurricular English program known in China as Disney English. In 2017, China’s extracurricular education market exceeded $4 billion. Many Chinese parents are eager to enroll their children in an extracurricular program to give them a head start in school. Disney English has created their program as a standout among the many other English learning programs throughout China. Shanghai itself is an incredible city. There is a fascinating contrast throughout the city in almost every area. Take, for example, the food.
Within the same block, you will likely find carts selling cooked chicken feet, a common street food, and McDonald’s selling some of the exact burgers as in the US. You see the same contrast on the roads, which will be swept by hand with brooms made of bamboo branches, as Teslas and Rolls Royces drive by. It is a unique opportunity to live somewhere growing at a rate as fast as Shanghai, and I’m glad I made the decision to take on the challenge. While many cultural aspects in China including the language and food are still foreign to me, both experiences of working for Disney and living abroad have helped me appreciate how universal many of the classic Disney lessons are. Disney characters and their stories are beloved by the Chinese the same way they are by Americans.
